Hec's Green Tomatillo Salsa

An authentic and easy-to-make salsa from our favorite chef.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 green tomatillos
  • 2 Serrano peppers
  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Boil ingredients in water for 10-15 minutes
  • Add the serranos to the blender along with 1 tsp. of salt and 2-3 tbsps. of the water used to the boil the peppers and purée
  • Add the tomatillos and purée until you are happy with the consistency
  • Adjust seasoning to your liking

Notes

To adjust the spiciness of the salsa just add or lessen the number of serranos used.
